  When I was looking for my new best friend, I went 8 different shelters. Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center was by FAR the sweetest, gentlest place I had ever been too. They truly cared about me and finding the newest love of my life. They were fantastic. 10/10 would recommend! Great place! Thanks for my new found love!

  I'm from North Arlington, NJ and found 6 kittens. We did not know what to do with them. We tried finding homes for the kittens, but were unsuccessful. We then did some research online and found the Bergen County Animal Shelter. We took the kittens there and the staff was very welcoming. They took in the kittens and are in the process of getting them ready for adoption. Thank you very much for your help! We really appreciate it.

  These people have huge hearts! My dog went missing in Belleville (essex county) & the lady who found him didn't know where to bring him and she brought him here! And even though he was not found in bergen county, they still took my little babyboy in! I couldn't thank you guys enough! & a special huge thank you to bernadette (worker at shelter) that saw my post and called me right away saying they had my boy!! You are so awesome. My heart is finally full again. Thank you thank you thank you!
